When the "Internet Generation" is a parent, they often turn to the parenting WeChat WeChat official account or the parenting APP for help. Why does the information-rich network aggravate the parenting problem in reality? What misunderstandings are parenting easy to fall into in the Internet age? Hainan Daily reporter interviewed this.

A new generation of "post-80 s" and "post-90 s" parents rely on the Internet to raise children.

Like all young people who grew up in the Internet age, novice mother Zhao Yingcheng gained experience and knowledge in parenting through the parenting APP from pregnancy preparation to production. When children have problems for the first time, Zhao Yingcheng always wants to find ready-made answers from the Internet.

"What should I do if my child has a fever?" "What should I do if my 2-year-old baby can’t talk?" "What’s the matter with love sweating when the child sleeps at night?" These are all questions that Zhao Yingcheng once turned to the Internet for help on the way of child-rearing, and they are also the hot search contents of netizens that automatically appeared after Hainan Daily reporters entered the keywords "child" and "baby" in Baidu search. In addition to professional doctors, there are also experience posts on various parenting websites.

"Seeing the answers to questions about babies on parenting groups and parenting websites is generally the communication between treasure mothers. For an inexperienced novice mother like me, online parenting is very convenient. However, it is still a bit difficult to identify information, and sometimes I buy some parenting books to cross-verify. " Zhao Yingcheng said.

It’s normal for "post-80s" and "post-90s" parents like Zhao Yingcheng to turn to the Internet for help when they encounter parenting problems. Therefore, various parenting WeChat official account and parenting apps are constantly emerging to meet the growing online parenting needs of maternal and infant families.

Hainan Daily reporter searched for parenting apps in the APP Mall and found that the unique apps attracted a large number of users. According to the application treasure data, the number of installations of "Baby Tree Inoculation" was 100 million, that of "Pro Baby" was 100 million, and that of "Baby Know" was 22.33 million.

The network "parenting classics" cannot be blindly copied.

Although online parenting provides convenience for young parents, is this online knowledge really reliable?

Sun Dan (a pseudonym), a second-born mother, told Hainan Daily: "I used a lot of popular parenting apps before, but they were all uninstalled later. Most of the people who use this kind of APP are novice mothers. If they don’t have the basic judgment ability for the baby’s various things, they will ask many questions on the APP, but sometimes the answer is not necessarily scientific. "

In Sun Dan’s view, many novice parents give birth to and raise their children in the absence of basic knowledge. They don’t know what medicine their children are taking under what conditions, and they can’t distinguish between viral colds and bacterial colds. It is unscientific whether to raise a baby according to WeChat official account or to listen to folk remedies.

Not all novice parents have the ability to tell whether the popular science articles in parenting WeChat WeChat official account are scientific guidance or experience, and some parents do what the so-called "experts" say.

According to previous media reports, a baby girl in Ningbo had a high fever of nearly 40℃, but her mother insisted on not taking her child to the hospital and refused to take medicine, because she listened to WeChat official account, a parenting micro-letter, and advocated that children could "heal themselves" no matter what illness they had.

"Some parenting WeChat WeChat official account is under the guise of parenting, but in fact it is to trick novice mothers into spending." Sun Dan told Hainan Daily that apart from the mixed content, the phenomenon of "hitchhiking" in parenting WeChat WeChat official account advertisements also emerged endlessly.

Hainan Daily reporter opened the child-rearing number registered by a digital technology company in Beijing, and the words "open the group", "tomorrow group" and "explosion group" kept on. Most of the group purchases are baby milk powder, stainless steel tableware, yogurt machine, eye cream, makeup remover, enzyme, curling iron and so on.

Parents should not be too anxious, they should consult a doctor if they are involved in diseases.

"Before giving birth, no matter how oversensitive you are, after giving birth, there will be a ‘ Love+carefulness+worry ’ Blx. " One sentence clearly reflects the anxiety of parents in parenting.

Hainan Daily reporter interviewed a real case of a novice mother: folic acid and vitamins should be imported during pregnancy, the crib should be made of beech wood, the water used to make milk powder must be imported mineral water, the proportion and dosage of ingredients used for complementary food should be accurate to grams, and the children’s daily meals, defecation and so on should be recorded in the notebook … … Even the grandmother of the child said, "This is no longer raising a baby, but all year round ‘ Scientific experiment ’ 。” Even so, the novice mother still said that she still felt powerless in the face of the guidance of some parenting WeChat WeChat official account or parenting apps.

"The anxiety of novice parents seems to be too hard. In fact, it comes from the lack of parenting knowledge, and there are some laziness. They rarely consult professional pediatricians and think that the Internet can answer all questions." Wang Danhong, deputy chief physician of Pediatrics Department of Haikou People’s Hospital, said that many novice parents have never participated in parenting courses set up by regular hospitals. When they are confused about parenting, they think that the most convenient choice is WeChat, not a professional doctor.

"From a professional point of view, the forms of communication in some parenting communities are too fragmented, and the sources of some parenting popular science articles recommended by parenting WeChat WeChat official account are unknown and their authenticity is in doubt." Wang Danhong said that it is impossible for any parenting WeChat WeChat official account to replace the role of a specialist. Once a child has a serious or urgent problem, it is still necessary to find a corresponding specialist to solve it.

In addition, Wang Hongyi, director of pediatrics department of Hainan Modern Women and Children’s Hospital, also said that the top three hospitals or children’s hospitals usually offer public welfare parenting courses on a regular basis, and publish various parenting knowledge through the hospital’s official WeChat WeChat official account, which is the most direct and authoritative channel for parenting groups.
